The Journey Behind Shriyam Global
Every successful enterprise begins with a vision. Shriyam Global was born from the coming together of three entrepreneurs whose journeys, though different, were united by one common purpose—to build a company founded on trust, quality, and long-term relationships.
For decades, each founder mastered a different side of business.
One built expertise in distribution, customer relationships, and operational excellence, while the other two became specialists in sourcing, craftsmanship, and the natural stone industry. Together, they created a company that combines the strength of deep sourcing capabilities with world-class customer service.
At the heart of this journey is Varun Agarwal, representing the legacy of the Balaji Group - Mumbai.
Growing up in a family with more than two decades of experience in FMCG distribution, Varun was introduced to business at an early age. From his school days, he actively participated in the family enterprise, learning every aspect of the supply chain—from procurement and warehousing to sales, retailer servicing, and customer relationship management.
This experience shaped his philosophy that sustainable business is built not merely by selling products, but by creating trust through consistency, service, and reliability.
Alongside this journey, Shankar Prajapati and Kailash Prajapati were building an equally remarkable legacy through Mascot Infra and Selective Marbles.
Their journey began in Mumbai in 1994, where they entered the construction and premium interiors industry. What started as a profession soon became a lifelong passion for natural stone. Over the next three decades, they established themselves as trusted experts in sourcing, selecting, and supplying premium marble, granite, and natural stones for prestigious residential, commercial, and architectural projects.
Their expertise extends far beyond trading stones. They possess an in-depth understanding of premium Italian marble as well as India’s finest marble and granite, with extensive knowledge of stone characteristics, veins, textures, durability, finishing techniques, applications, and quality selection. Years of working closely with architects, interior designers, developers, quarry owners, manufacturers, and contractors have enabled them to build one of the industry’s strongest sourcing networks and an unwavering reputation for quality and craftsmanship.
Although their backgrounds were different, all three founders shared the same belief: exceptional businesses are built on integrity, relationships, and delivering on every promise
